Auditions:
Dec 10 – 13, 2018
by appointment beginning at 6:00 pm

Ages 7 – adult

Performances:
Feb 15 – 24, 2019

Intergenerational shows (ages 7 – adult) are all doubled – both cast and crew – allowing for involvement of twice as many participants. For auditions, you only need to attend one of the two nights. Please arrive as close to this time as possible.  Late arrivals may not be auditioned.

If it is a musical, there will be a singing (and most likely, dancing) portion to the audition as well.

All crew positions are filled through auditionees.

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toes shoes, especially if there is a dancing component to the audition! Please pull long hair back from your face.

Bring your calendar to list any conflicts you may have with the rehearsal schedule.
(This does not eliminate you, but allows us to work out the final schedule to the best of all.)

Little Shop of Horrors @ The Belmont Theatre

Please prepare 16 bars of a song that best shows your range in the style of the show. Songs from the show are fine. -NO ACAPELLA- Please provide a track on your phone or a CD.  A speaker/aux chord and CD player will be provided.

Kids Casting Notes
Any student aged 6-18 is welcome to audition.
No experience is necessary, but you must schedule an audition appointment.

To be considered for a major speaking role, students must be ages 10-18 and prepare a Shakespearean monologue at least 10 lines in length, no more than a minute when performed, and audition on December 12 (must be available for callback auditions on December 19.)

To audition for the cast ensemble, no preparation is needed and general auditions are held on December 18.

All actors who wish to audition MUST schedule an audition appointment with Tara by sending an email to Tara@GamutTheatre.org at least 48 hours prior to audition time. We do not allow any walk-ins.

Kids Casting Notes:

Ages – 5th Grade to Adult Performers.
Performers should plan on attending one of the three audition dates where they will act, sing and dance to scenes from the show. There is no need to prepare anything for the audition. Everyone that auditions will be cast in the show.
BRING your calendar with you to the auditions to write down you unavailability on your audition form.

2019 Season Auditions @ Servant Stage/Premiere Danse Academy

Auditions:

Jan 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 2019 1-5pm

Kids Casting Notes:

See schedule (announced 10/28/18) for specific show casting.

Please prepare two contrasting musical selections (approx. one minute each). A one minute monologue is also encouraged (but not mandatory). An accompanist will be provided, as well as means to play tracks via digital device (1/8” headphone jack plug-in). Auditions will be held in five minute time slots.

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS – Please send a video of two contrasting songs and a monologue (unlisted YouTube links encouraged) along with your headshot and resume to Servant Stage Company to wally@servantstagecompany.com

To be considered for upcoming shows, please submit videos as soon as possible.
