Susquehanna Stage Co presents The Music Man

Auditions:

Saturday, May 5: 10am-3pm Sunday, May 6: 2pm-4pm and 6:30pm-8:30pm

Auditions will be by appointment, in ten-minute slots.

Kids Casting Notes:

– Provide a recent head-shot and performance resume.
– Prepare one 32 bar cut of a classic/standard from the 1950s-1960s musical theatre repertoire. Be familiar with the score as you may be asked to sing selections from The Music Man.
– Audition forms will be provided at auditions. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out an audition form.

Open Stage of Harrisburg presents 2018-19 Season Auditions

2018/2019 AUDITIONS
Open Stage of Harrisburg is holding general auditions for its upcoming 2018/2019 Season. Rehearsals and performances in Harrisburg, PA. Non-equity. Compensation paid.

Auditions:

Saturday, June 9, 9:00am-6:00pm and Sunday, June 10, 12:00pm-7:00pm.

If you are auditioning for the musical or cabarets, please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song. An accompanist will be provided, please do not sing a cappella. All auditioners should prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue. Please bring a headshot and resume. Children may audition. Children under the age of 12 should prepare a joke or story.

***All actors 18 and under must be enrolled in Open Stage Studio/School starting Fall 2018 (scholarships available). 

Auditions will be held at Open Stage of Harrisburg, located at 25 N. Court St. Harrisburg PA 17101. The theatre is located on the street level of the Walnut Street Parking Garage. Street parking is free on Sundays and after 5pm on Saturday. Get up to four hours of free parking on Saturday with the discount code LUVHBG on the ParkMobile app.

Keystone Theatrics at Allenberry presents It Shoulda Been You

Audition Dates (please attend 1 and arrive at the posted start time):
Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 6:00 P.M.
Monday, December 3, 2018 at 6:00 P.M.

Callbacks (if needed):
Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 6:00 P.M.

Please be prepared to:
– Sing 20-32 bars of a song of your choice.  Please do NOT sing a song from It Shoulda Been You.
You must sing with our provided accompaniment, a CD with NO vocals, or with a device you provide.  NO a cappella auditions will be allowed.
– You may be asked to sing scales by our accompanist.
– Complete a dance audition, taught by the show choreographer (dress appropriately)
– Be prepared to read provided selections from the script
– Be prepared to fill out a conflict sheet at auditions (be as specific as possible about conflicts throughout the rehearsal period)

*Additional audition times may be scheduled ONLY if you are unable to attend the scheduled auditions. Please contact Keystone Theatrics Staff at info@keystonetheatrics.com, to schedule an audition at least two weeks in advance if this is the case.*

Rehearsals will begin in December 2018.  Tech week will be from Saturday, February 9 through Thursday, November 2, 2017.  No absences will be accepted during tech week or performances.

Performers Needed
Performers high school aged and up are welcome to audition.  Experienced or first time performers who enjoy acting, singing, and dancing are invited to audition. All ethnicities are encouraged to attend.

Performers in middle school are welcome to audition for Alice and The Kids. Performers high school aged and up are welcome to audition for all other roles.  Experienced or first time performers who enjoy acting, singing, and dancing are invited to audition. All ethnicities are encouraged to attend. Due to the length of the run, performers will be given a weekly stipend for performance weekends.

Hershey Area Playhouse presents Once Upon a Mattress

Auditions:
May 1 & 3 at 6 p.m

Performances:
July 19 – 29, 2018

Kids Casting Notes:

Call for ages. Prepare thirty-two (32) bars of a song that best fits the style of the show and demonstrates their musicality and vocal range. An accompanist will be provided; please ensure your sheet music is already appropriately marked and easy to read with cuts made for the accompanist. Please no a cappella.

All auditioning will be asked to do cold readings from the script. Please wear or bring comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear for the dance portion of the auditions. You will be asked to learn some choreography for this portion of the audition process.
